I am a self-taught surface pattern designer who recently celebrated turning 40, a milestone that has made me reflect deeply on life's various joys. My greatest sources of joy are my loving family; my children and husband who fill my days with happiness. I find solace and inspiration in simple pleasures like taking leisurely walks with my dogs or sharing quiet moments with my mischievous cat in the early morning hours.
Art has always been my refuge and passion. Whether I'm painting, creating, or bringing my imaginative designs to life, each endeavor is a manifestation of my dreams and aspirations. My journey has not been without sorrow; I have experienced the loss of loved ones, including my mother and youngest brother to cancer. These experiences have taught me about the fleeting nature of life and the importance of creating something lasting and meaningful.
My creative process is fueled by a deep-seated desire to share joy in tangible forms. I am endlessly inspired by the vivid colors, intricate patterns, and diverse textures that I integrate into my designs. Seeing my art transform a space, infusing it with personality and vibrancy, brings me immense satisfaction.
My mother, a seamstress whose skilled hands could transform fabric into exquisite garments, has always been my role model. I grew up alongside her, fascinated by the process of selecting fabrics and accessories. I marveled at the beauty of colorful patterns and wondered about the creative minds behind them—the designers who crafted motifs and repeated them endlessly across yards of fabric. Now, I am honored to follow in her footsteps, crafting patterns that find their way into homes and hearts, each piece a testament to the joy and creativity that define my small business.
